Denise Zúñiga, originally from Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, is a woman who embodies perseverance and Latino pride. At 41 years old and a mother of three, Denise is determined to leave her children a legacy of hard work, dedication, and personal growth. Since her childhood, her life has been a testament to the idea that dreams are achieved through hard work and courage.

At the age of 13, she emigrated to the United States, facing significant challenges due to her immigration status. Although she received scholarships for her academic excellence, she was unable to accept them, which led her to start working at a young age. Over the years, Denise has worked diligently in various companies, acquiring valuable skills and experiences while balancing her professional life with quality time dedicated to her children, who are her greatest inspiration.

Her constant desire to learn and grow has been her driving force. In 2022, she decided to explore her passion for beauty by enrolling in Allure Beauty School, where she graduated in 2023. Since then, she has accumulated a wide variety of certifications to support her expertise:

• Eyebrow design, henna, and lamination.
• Professional haircutting.
• Professional makeup (Graduated from Faceart Makeup Academy).
• Specialized permanent makeup.
• Georgia State Master Cosmetologist License (Valid until 2026).

She is currently nearing certification as a cosmetology instructor at Elaine Sterling Institute, with the goal of opening her own academy. This project aims to create a space where Latina women can train and find the tools they need to excel in the beauty industry, promoting independence and empowerment.
